Can I generate with Kling 3.0 in ChatCut?

As reviewed on 28 October 2026, new Kling generation is suspended in the inspected ChatCut route and Kling is absent from the manual picker. A successful task-list read does not establish generation entitlement or balance. The examples below describe the previous integration; native Kling specifications and other vendors' wrappers have separate capabilities. Use a model listed in your current app.

What are the documented native limits?

The retained provider model name is kling-v3. Native Kling 3.0 documentation lists 3–15 integer seconds, 720p/1080p/4K, 16:9/9:16/1:1 and 1–6 shots. The frame workflow requires a first frame, optionally paired with a last frame. Native audio has on/off settings; those controls do not prove they are exposed by ChatCut or a third-party wrapper.

The native prompt ceiling is 3,072 characters, with up to 512 characters per storyboard shot and shot durations adding up to the total. These documented limits are separate from the previous ChatCut showcase. No current new-generation entitlement or matched-setting price was verified.

How should I choose between Kling and Seedance?

  1. Check which model your current app actually offers. The inspected ChatCut route blocks new Kling jobs.
  2. For an available model, compare input modes, duration and resolution against the brief. Seedance 2.0 documents 4–15 seconds; 2.5 documents 4–30 seconds and different reference budgets.
  3. Compare current preflight quotes at the same model provider, account cohort, resolution, ratio, duration, audio and video-input settings. Review the completed output before editing it on the timeline.

No controlled same-brief benchmark establishes a quality winner or a universal cost advantage. Native provider tariffs, another vendor's credits and ChatCut credits are different units.

See model status and inputs, Seedance 2.0, Seedance 2.5, Credits Policy, generation references and failure recovery.

Last fact review: 28 October 2026. Official sources were accessed on 27 October; integration contracts and saved development checks were reviewed on 28 October. This is dated evidence, not a live certification of every production account. No new paid generation was performed for this page.

Previous Kling integration

The examples and feature details below describe the previous integration.

A camera department between prompt and cut

Kling 3.0 brings the camera and the take. ChatCut keeps every version, reference, and the final edit on one timeline.

Six axes of camera, asked for inplain words

Pan, tilt, roll, zoom, and horizontal or vertical travel are part of the request, not an accident of the prompt. The move you name is the move you get — and the take lands on the timeline ready to review.

Six shots,one continuoustake

Describe a run of up to six shots in a single request and Kling returns them as one continuous generation, holding the scene across the cut points. Split and re-order them on the timeline like any other footage.

Pin both ends,direct themiddle

Give the opening frame, the closing frame, or both from your own stills. The motion in between becomes a controlled transition toward a destination you chose, not a generation that wanders off the idea.

The soundarrives withthe shot

Kling generates in ChatCut with sound switched on, so a dialogue scene lands on your timeline already speaking. Keep the native track, or swap it for the editor's music, voiceover, and effects.

Direct the shot, not just the subject

The previous integration described 3–15-second Kling clips and timeline editing. New Kling generations are currently suspended in the inspected ChatCut route.

Kling 3.0 00:15

Camera control

Call the move in the prompt — pan, tilt, roll, zoom, or travel — instead of describing one and hoping the model finds it.

Describe the video you want to create…

Kling 3.0 15s 16:9

Prompt to Video

Describe a complete shot and generate a ready-to-edit video directly into your timeline.

Multi-shot storyboard

Describe up to six shots in one request and get them back as a single continuous generation.

First & last frame

Provide a first frame, optionally paired with a last frame, and review the generated motion between them.

Timeline editing

Trim, extend, revise, and combine every generated shot without leaving the editor.

Generate AI Videos With Full Editing Control

Generate video from text, images, or a first and last frame, then edit, caption, voice, and score it, all in one place.
